why weddings?

I’m aware that this puts me squarely in ‘hopeless romantic’ territory (and I’m totally ok with that!), but I wanted to build a career that centered around making people happy. I’m a detail-orientated person, always have been, and wedding planning  + designing allows me to make deep and real connections with people, while creating, designing and finessing a whole host of little details that form a uniquely beautiful tapestry once they’re woven together in just the right way.

What I believe I add to people’s weddings...

My goal is to have a positive impact on each couple’s planning process, as well as on the day itself.  It would be easy to talk here about bringing a mixture of creativity and meticulous organisation to the table, and while these are absolutely crucial qualities to have as a wedding planner, for me, it’s about the two people I’m working with feeling completely safe... safe to feel brave enough to get up and express their love for each other in a way that is unabashedly and proudly reflective of who they are individually and who they are together. 

 

I will do this creatively by helping you to tease out your initial ideas and building them into a fully formed, multi-layered celebration; and I do this emotionally by keeping you informed but not overwhelmed as the planning progresses, allowing you to relax into the wedding planning adventure you're on, and feel confident that

everything’s under control.

 

From the moment I’m booked until after you say I do, I’m on hand as a friend, an organiser, a stylist and a cheerleader.
